This year, I applied (and was accepted!!!) for a paid summer internship at my dad's company for high school and undergraduate students. So I'm going to walk you through the process
I know this is two months late, but better late than never right? I love this adorable picture I took of my dog for our annual Christmas picture and it was the first time I used a lighting setup. I'm so happy I was able to take this picture in less than 10 minutes and the results are amazing!
One of the hardest, yet most rewarding things we are able to do is learn new things. The fear of messing up and the want to do something perfectly in the beginning drives many, including me away from the many activities that I am unable to perform correctly the first time. It takes a lot of effort to be able to perfect something, and I hope that learning brush calligraphy is something that will pay off well in the future when I'm able to create my own cards and pieces. Currently, things aren't going too well and I'm trying my best, but I still can't help but feel frustrated that I haven't progressed to an Instagram level of perfection. I know that their level most likely took hours of practice, but it makes me worry sometimes that I'm not patient enough for this art.
