I've been eating these egg tarts since I was probably 5 years old and they are something that you just can't get tired of eating. The layers of the outside are crisp yet still chewy, and the inside is a velvety, soft delicacy. Combined, it is the perfect mixture. As a dessert, it isn't as sweet as one may expect. There is a slight taste of egg on the inside, but has a hint of sweetness instead of the salty taste expected. Each egg tart is baked to golden perfection.
These egg tarts can be found in many Chinese restaurants with food from Hong Kong, Chinese supermarkets, or at any dim sum restaurant.
Food is a huge part of my life, and I've always enjoyed eating great foods so I thought what better way to commemorate my love of food than writing about it! Welcome to FOODIE where I will introduce the foods I love.
