I currently don't own any tennis shoes or sneakers and am looking for a really comfortable pair for everyday wear. Toms and sandals are cute and great for walking short distances but I need shoes for photography when I often find myself standing for several hours at a time and an upcoming hiking trip! Here are some of the best shoes I found:
Nike Juvenate: $85
This pair of Nike Juvenate shoes is reasonably priced at $85 and is super cute. They have a really nice pattern and feature the recently popular millennial pink color. According to reviews, these shoes are very comfortable and light and therefore perfect for running and walking. I absolutely love the peachy tones which make the shoes perfect for any season and easy to match with. I think these would be perfect for the jeans and tennis shoes trend.
Allbirds Wool Runners: $95
These Kotare Lavender Wool Runners from Allbirds are $95. Allbirds is a fairly new New Zealand-American brand that uses Merino wool to create environmentally friendly shoes. Allbirds market their shoes as being the "world's most comfortable shoe" and both their Wool Runners and said to be extremely light and comfortable by reviewers. These are socks-optional, but many reviewers do recommend wearing socks. Allbirds are more of a lifestyle shoe than they are an actual tennis shoe so if you are looking to do high impact exercise you may want to look elsewhere.
Nike Free TR7: $100
As the most expensive pair on this list, the Nike Free TR7s come in at a cool $100. These shoes are specified by Nike as training shoes and reviewers rated them as great for weight lifting and cardio. The color of these shoes really pulled me in as well as the marble-esque design on the sides.
Toms Del Rey: $79
Toms' Del Rey Sneakers are the cheapest on this list at $79. Toms is one of my favorite shoe brands because of their charity work and I love being able to support anything that helps disadvantaged children. Something pretty special about these shoes that is difficult to find elsewhere is that they are vegan. I didn't even previously know that vegan shoes existed. Based on reviews, these are fairly comfortable shoes for walking and daily activities, but they are not made for running.
